Dragonboat Cruise 2011!!

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all happy and well-fed and not too stressed out by the first few weeks of semester! =]
Here's just another reminder of the exciting upcoming DRAGONBOAT CRUISE this Thursday (24th March).  Jointly organised with VSA, Kimchi, Chopsticks, HKC, Wasabi, KSA and SUAMS, you have a great and awesome harbour cruise to look forward to, complete with complimentary drinks for the duration of the cruise, as well as free pizza, and an assortment of delicacies from various cultures!

Here's the details of the cruise:
When: Thursday 24th March 6pm
Where: King St. Wharf 8
Prices: $34 (Access) or $45 (Non-Access)

Tickets will also be on sale EVERY WEEK DAY 11AM - 2PM in the JFR Plaza up until Thursday (the day of the cruise) so come along to the stall and grab hold of one ASAP! Bring as many friends along as you can and want! =]

Welcome to the University of Sydney Teochew Association Blog!

The University of Sydney Teochew Association is a student formed society, formed under the University of Sydney Union. Established in late 2009 the association has since flourished into a small community.

There are many people of Teochew descent everywhere, but it's amazing to see how many do not know a lot about their cultural heritage. We aim to preserve our cultural heritage by providing a means for Teochew people to meet each other and practice their Teochew whatever the level; to discover and explore Teochew culture (yes this includes food!) and have a great time above all!
